Premia Reinsurance Ltd. ("Premia Re"), is a Bermuda based Class 4 specialty reinsurance company focused on acquiring non-life run-off (re)insurance portfolios including acquiring companies in run-off worldwide. Premia currently has operations in Bermuda, the United States, Lloyd's of London and Continental Europe. We are currently hiring for the role of Manager - Risk & Capital. The successful applicant will report to the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and Financial Planning & Analysis and will be responsible for risk and capital initiatives as well as financial planning and analysis in Bermuda in addition to supporting the Investment Management and Reporting functions across the Group. Responsibilities: • Management of the Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement ("BSCR") modelling and reporting process. • Manage the Group Solvency Self-Assessment ("GSSA") process and annual submission of GSSA, Financial Condition Report ("FCR") and BSCR for both the Company and the Group. Provide on-going capital projections including analysing the impact of new transactions on capital requirements as well as the Company's and the Group's balance sheet. • Perform portfolio modeling, including providing feedback on duration, liquidity and compliance risks. • Support the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and FP&A to optimize Group and Trust environment investments from a risk and retum perspective. • Support the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and FP&A with ownership of the Bermuda Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") Framework, Risk Appetite and Risk Register, including reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer. • Perform on-going risk analysis including (1) Asset and Liability Management, (2) Stress Testing, (3) Environmental, Social and Govemance ("ESG") monitoring and reporting, and (4) Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing initiatives for the Company including regular monitoring and reporting to both senior management and regulatory bodies as appropriate. • Perform Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") functions for the Company as well as Group, including determining key retum metrics for each transaction for presentation to and discussion with senior management and the Board of Directors. Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors, investors and rating agencies for both the Group and the Company. • Develop and maintain complex models for Risk, Capital, FP&A and new business valuations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance; Accounting or Risk Management) and a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least four (4) years of post-qualification experience. • A relevant qualification in Risk Management, Capital, Investment and Financial modeling such as Financial Risk Manager ("FRM") or the Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA"). Strong working knowledge of Bermuda regulatory reporting including GSSA, BSCR and FCR. Strong knowledge and experience completing the BSCR including Economic Balance Sheet adjustments for Technical Provisions. Comprehensive understanding and ability to develop stress scenarios across assets and liabilities. • Experience working with the Blackrock Aladdin Risk Management Tool. • Detailed knowledge and experience with investment portfolio analysis and optimization, including experience with a broad range of fixed income, equity and alternative investments. • Detailed knowledge and experience of US GAAP and Bermuda Statutory accounting requirements. • Ability to deliver results both independently and as part of a team, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight reporting deadlines. • Experience developing and delivering presentations to C-Suite management and the Board of Directors. • Advanced skills in Excel including the ability to develop and maintain complex models.
