We are currently seeking qualified candidates to be considered for positions as seniors, assistant managers, managers, and senior managers in our Strategy & Transactions practice in Bermuda. Strategy & Transactions Senior and Assistant Manager responsibilities, education/qualifications, and required experience: Working under the supervision of more senior members of the team, participate in restructuring, liquidation, Insolvency and/or valuations procedures and engagements as required and contribute to defining the engagement scope Prepare analysis and reports supporting the assignment as required to be delivered to clients and other parties and contribute to presenting our work and its findings to the client Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress A bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field Successful candidates would ideally possess or be actively pursuing an internationally recognized professional accounting certification, such as a CPA or equivalent, or a service line relevant certification, such as a recognized insolvency qualification or an ASA, AM, CBV, CFA or equivalent Strategy & Transactions Senior a minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant experience in a similar position; prior experience working for a public accounting or professional services firm as well as experience in the financial services industry is preferred. Strategy & Transactions Assistant Manager a minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant experience in a similar position with demonstrated career progression; prior experience working for a public accounting or professional services firm as well as experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred. Strategy & Transactions Manager and Senior Manager-responsibilities, education/ qualifications, and required experience: Coordinate and lead restructuring, liquidation, insolvency and/or valuations engagements by defining the engagement scope, in consultation with the associate partner/partner and execute it in compliance with the firm's policies as well as manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and ensure that client work is of high quality; as part of this, you'll anticipate and Identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate Demonstrate professionalism and confidence to deal with a range of stakeholder groups and management teams Participate in business development initiatives and actively build your own network of contacts Create a positive learning culture and coach junior team members to help them develop A bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field Successful candidates would ideally possess or be actively pursuing an internationally recognized professional accounting certification, such as a CPA or equivalent, or a service line relevant certification, such as a recognized insolvency qualification or an ASA, AM, CBV, CFA or equivalent Strategy & Transactions Manager a minimum of five (5) years of recent relevant experience in a similar position with demonstrated career progression and leadership skills; prior experience working for a public accounting or professional services firm as well as experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred Strategy & Transactions Senior Manager a minimum of seven (7) years of recent relevant experience in a similar position with demonstrated career progression and leadership skills; prior experience working for a public accounting or professional services firm as well as experience in the financial services industry is required The successful candidates must have an aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, strong interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and travel, as well as a dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment.
