Tower Crane Operator

Job Type: Contract

The successful candidate must be highly skilled and motivated who can take on large or small projects on an individual basis or in a team dynamic. Thoroughness, quality assurance and safety are paramount skills for this role. Key Duties and Responsibilities include: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex machinery, conducting operator inspections daily, performing preventive maintenance checks on all equipment, executing a variety of construction procedures involving commercial and residential projects, reading and interpreting construction drawings, and observing varying conditions to adjust equipment controls as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum of 7-10 years’ working experience in operating. Must have a valid Tower Crane/ Hoisting Engineer license. Extensive experience in reading and interpreting construction drawing, studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams and calculating requirements. Proven problem solving and decision-making skills is mandatory. Must be able to maintain records of work performed. Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
