Clinical Supervisor - Allied Health Services

Ensuring compliance with clinical and operational policies, procedures, and processes for staff providing patient care in the unit; Supervising staff including conducting performance appraisals as required; Champions and leads quality improvement initiatives; Participating in the process for admissions, discharges and transfers; Collaborating with other Supervisors, Assistant Unit Managers, Managers and others to resolve issues that cross departmental lines; Providing coverage support for the Clinical Manager (in an acting capacity) on an as needed basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science (preferred) from an accredited University with a suitable major within a clinical hospital setting • Must have at least three years’ experience as an Allied Health Professional • Local registration to practice with the Council of Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and meet all re-registration requirements.
